Round 2 of the MotoGP Championship at Jerez produced a difficult practice and qualifying for Scott as they struggled to sort out the handling with the bike suffering from a “chatter” problem.   This was overcome by using a different tyre size and compound in the race but, unfortunately, not the one that they would like to have used.  Undeterred Scott gave his usual 100% performance and battled to the end getting to the line in 7th place after a race long battle with Dominique Aegerter and Mike di Meglio and giving himself another 9 points to add to his previous 11.   He now stands in 5th place in the Championship table.

The Grand Prix at  Estoril in Portugal saw a big reversal in Scott’s fortunes with both rider and team struggling to get good set for both handling and speed.    Handling was finally sorted but although the motor seemed to have also been sorted the warm up session on race day left that in doubt.   Read the race report on the result page for this GP for the rest of the story.   Click here.
