Scott proved to be the sensation of the Qatar testing. Despite the fantastic showing of the other Brit riders Bradley Smith and Danny Webb it has to be remembered that Scott had never raced outside Europe before, had never seen the circuit before, and, as with the rest of the riders, was coming to terms with riding under floodlights for the first time and yet was the fourth quickest rider over the three days. He was well pleased with his second to Bradley on day two and despite a fall in day three while pushing too hard on a bike that was, for some reason not running as well as the previous two sessions, his final day position of 7th was yet again very impressive. He is looking forward to the forthcoming race days.
